Atlantic Synchronized Swimming
Dear synchronized swimming families,
Thank you for the opportunity to shoot the Atlantic Synchronized Swimming championships this weekend. I will be at the pool all weekend, snapping event and reaction photos. In addition, I will take staged photos of team and individuals for commemorative prints.

While I have a few photos on display now, a sampling of IMAGES will be placed on site after the meet.
If you want to reserve me for a particular event, there is $25 deposit and you will receive 4 digital action shots. If you want more, or are interested in prints, they will be available for sale as well. TO ENSURE YOUR SWIMMERS PICTURES, you must use reserve system. I will email you a link to your photos after the event.
Reservations can be made by filling out the from below. They are on a first come, first serve basis and secured with a $25 deposit. I will be on the far side of the pool.

Returning to the pool
There was a day I was at the pool every day, every week of the summer. From swimming lessons to Red Cross courses, the pool was the setting - mostly in Charlottetown. So to be able to shoot a major swimming event recently that featured many swimmers from new home and some familiar faces from my old home, it was pretty special. I had so many favourites from the weekend but here are but a few looks from the NB Long Course swimming championships in Saint John.

Due to the short nature of some races, and the volume of swimmers attending, I will not be able to guarantee I will get photos of your swimmer. If I do not capture your favourite swimmer, I will refund the deposit.

A new beginning
First of all, thank you to the many family members and friends who have helped this little project (dream) along, particularly those in 2017 who simply said, "Kevin, you have to get into business."
Those small words of encouragement grew into a mountain of positive feedback and as I'll explain in a later post, I had to get aggressive with the gravy.
The likes and shares on social media, requests for photos and opportunities to display my work on my facebook site and a good friend's basketball site have provided forums to develop, make mistakes and learn and ultimately share something I truly enjoy doing.
In addition to this new site, which will provide a spot to view, proof and buy photos, I'll provide updates on this blog on various aspects of the venture, from how I got into photography to particular projects I am working on.
Needless to say, the support of my wife, Kathy, as been instrumental in all of this as has the support from my daughters, who model for many shoots to experiment with collages, prints and settings. Their love - and patience - is something I treasure and never take for granted.
I hope you enjoy the evolution of this project and look forward to hearing from you soon.
